Health Data Specialist II

Daniel Heitner, MPH, works with the New Jersey Department of Health as a Health Data Specialist II on the Pregnancy and Infant COVID-19 Outcomes project in collaboration with the CDC's Surveillance for Emerging Threats to Mothers and Babies Network (SET-NET). Daniel is a graduate of Tulane University where he earned his MPH with concentrations in Maternal and Child Health and Program Management. Daniel is excited to return to AMCHP for the first time since 2016 where he has previously attended as a presenter for a poster on the Paired Practica Program with the Maternal and Child Health Workforce Development Center. Additionally, his work on Title V Workforce Development with the Iowa Department of Public Health was presented at the conference that same year. Daniel's previous work includes working with the New Jersey Early Intervention System where he held several roles within a Regional Early Intervention Collaborative over a period of 5 years.
