Research Assistant Professor
Hubert Department of Global Health, Rollins School of Public Health, Emory University
I am a Research Assistant Professor in the Hubert Department of Global Health and an affiliated faculty member with the Center for Reproductive Health Research in the Southeast at the Rollins School of Public Health (RSPH) at Emory University. I utilize mixed methods approaches to investigate the impact of social determinants and policy on sexual and reproductive health within vulnerable populations. Drawing from frameworks in sociology, gender studies, and health policy I ask questions which leverage interdisciplinary theories, use novel methodologies, and leverage new types of evidence to further contextualize both domestic and international reproductive health challenges. As an early career researcher, I strive to reduce disparities in sexual and reproductive health access through my scholarship and mentorship.
