Victoria Moerchen, PT, PhD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences & Technology, College of Health Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She has over 17 years of clinical experience in early intervention/pediatric physical therapy which informs her translational research agenda focused on promoting physical activity and the parent-infant interaction for infants at-risk for motor delays. Dr. Moerchen directed a HRSA/MCHB Pipeline (now LEAP) Training Program for over 10 years, and she has been a Title V Internship/Pipeline team champion through the National MCH Workforce Development Center for 5 years. She was a WI-LEND faculty member for 5 years during her doctoral degree and was an MCHB trainee during her master's degree. She is a strong advocate for diversity in the healthcare fields and received the Stanford Award for most impactful article in 2018 "Purposeful Recruitment Strategies to Increase Diversity in Physical Therapist Education."
