In 2019, I graduated from Mercer University’s College of Health Professions where I received my master’s degree in Public Health. While finishing my degree I completed an internship with CDC’s National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD and TB Prevention where I analyzed data on the seroprevalence of Hepatitis A & E in Punjab, India. Currently, I am a CDC ORISE Fellow with the Infant Outcomes Monitoring, Research, and Prevention Branch on the Emerging Threats Team. I work on various Surveillance for Emerging Threats to Mothers and Babies Network (SET-NET) activities including, processing data from various jurisdictional partners, leading our monthly Data Use Working Group and SET-NET Office Hours calls, and assisting with expanding our SET-NET inclusion criteria.
