Molly Gosselink is an experienced Registered Nurse and Public Health professional with 15 years of experience in the maternal and child health world. She graduated from the University of Iowa with a BSN in 2006. From there, she worked in a variety of inpatient, outpatient and community settings prior to earning her MPH from Des Moines University in 2018. Molly joined the Iowa Department of Public Health as a Nurse Clinician on the Reproductive Health team in the Bureau of Family health in 2019. Her current work is focused on Title V Maternal Health work on the local level (Iowa has 23 local maternal health agencies), Title X family planning clinical consultation and oversight, as well as being the project manager for a pilot project working with community based doulas to serve African American/ Black identifying pregnant people in 4 counties in Iowa. Molly is driven by a desire to create the healthiest and most supportive environments for Iowans to raise their families in.
