Yexinyu "Yolanda" Yang received her B.A. in Psychology and Politics at the Washington and Lee University in 2018. She received her M.A. in Clinical Psychology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in 2021, where she worked on developing an emotion-regulation focused digital parenting program. Currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at UNC-Chapel Hill, Yolanda is exploring the role of emotion regulation in the context of behavioral parent training. Additionally, she hopes to combine her research in digital mental health with public health to improve the accessibility of evidence-based psychological intervention for underserved families at a population level. She is interested in connecting and collaborating with researchers working in community-based organizations and policy fields, collectively advancing healthcare services and technology innovation equity.
