Health Policy Analyst

Allison Stevens is Health Services Policy Analyst with the Pregnancy-Associated Mortality Review (PAMR) Program at the Ohio Department of Health (ODH). She manages multiple contracts/grants that aim to improve maternal health in Ohio and eliminate racial/ethnic disparities in maternal morbidity and mortality. She is involved with data analyses and quality assurance processes related to the PAMR program. She serves as the co-lead of Ohio's statewide maternal health task force, the Ohio Council to Advance Maternal Health and serves on multiple committees within ODH focused on promoting cross-program collaboration, workforce development, and infusing tenets of health equity into programming. Allison received a Bachelor of Science in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (Respiratory Therapy) from The Ohio State University. After providing direct patient care in a pediatric setting, Allison returned to OSU to complete her Master's in Public Health (Health Behavior and Health Promotion).
