Christina Mazumder is currently an MPH-candidate studying Global Health at University of Washington. Her research interests include community-based practice and participatory research, enhancing global delivery of primary care services, and strengthening the nursing workforce capacity in resource-limited regions of the world to ensure health equity. Her other passions include working on projects related to decreasing HIV incidence in AGYW populations in Sub-Saharan Africa, particularly those focused on advocating for universal education. Professionally, she works as a primary care nurse in chronic disease management and provides care for patients across various socio-demographic statuses to minimize disparate health outcomes.
