Danielle Le Bon Gort began her Public Health career in Minnesota serving a Tribal Nation for over 14 years as a Public Health Nurse, Lactation Counselor and Doula. During that time, she was instrumental in bringing Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) to the first Tribal Nations in the country through a planning process with the University of Colorado’s Prevention Research Center resulting in movement forward to implement an adapted NFP model for Tribal Nations thereafter. Danielle also developed and implemented an American Indian Community Doula Program. Certified in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health, Danielle facilitated a Reflective Supervision Cohort for a 4 county/3 Tribal area for 4 years. In 2014, Danielle joined the National Service Office of Nurse-Family Partnership as a Nurse Consultant.
