Rafaella Stein Elger is a PhD student in Public Health, concentrating in community and family health, at the University of South Florida. She holds an MPH in Maternal and Child Health and Epidemiology and a BA in Biochemistry from the same university. Rafaella works as a graduate research assistant at USF and has worked and coordinated different projects related to child health, community-based interventions, and program evaluation. Rafaella's current interest are in children with special health care needs, autism spectrum disorder, community-based research, and access to care.
