Heather Pomella, MSN, RN, CPNP, CNRN, is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Boston Children's Hospital in the Department of Neurology. Heather works on the inpatient Epilepsy Monitoring Unit and the Neurology Inpatient Service. She has been in this role since 2019.
Her background and passion, is in improving care coordination and integration across the country, for children with medical complexity, and children and youth with special healthcare needs. Heather serves as the manager for the National Care Coordination. Heather has worked as a medical home care coordinator, as well as a complex care coordinator before transitioning into her advanced practice role. She assisted with the development and implementation of a complex care program for a high risk adolescent and young adult medicine practice. Additionally, Heather serves as an Adjunct Professor for Regis College's online nurse practitioner program. When Heather is not working, she is spending time with her precious son who is almost 2 year old, her husband, and two dogs.
