Anna Wisotzkey is an MPH student in Health Policy at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and was an intern at the Tennessee Department of Health in the Division of Family Health and Wellness during Summer 2021. During her internship she worked to understand intimate partner violence (IPV) and IPV screening in Tennessee to educate community members and organizations on ways to decrease pregnancy-associated mortality. Her master’s thesis focuses on understanding obstetric provider opioid prescribing practices and beliefs following cesarean delivery. She received a BS in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience with a minor in History from the University of Michigan—Ann Arbor.
