Shakira Gore is the Program Manager for the Medical Home Community Team, a home-visitation program of the Health Promotion Council, a subsidiary of the Public Health Management Corporation. Ms. Gore is a licensed Social Work, she recieved her Masters of Social Work from Temple University and Bachelors of Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Sociology from Pennsylvania State University. Ms.Gore brings more than 10 years of experience working in clinical treatment centers, early intervention and case management, serving adults and children with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges. Ms. Gore has demonstrated not only the willingness to sacrifice her time for others, but a strong desire to deliver human services to those in need. Ms. Gore’s current role involves providing home visitation services to families, supervision of staff, program oversight, managing deliverables and reporting.
