We want to acknowledge and celebrate the many compelling sources of motivation for (and pathways to) engaging in the work of maternal and child health (MCH). Our “why” is the lens through which we reflect on the past and serves as the compass that guides future efforts to create more equitable opportunities for MCH populations. Through our new “Sharing Your Why” project, AMCHP aims to paint a picture of the modern MCH workforce – including perspectives from a broad range of professionals, youth, and families.

During this session, we will recognize the awardees of the Emerging MCH Professional and Ryan Colburn Scholarship awards.
