This session will focus on steps we can take now to achieve equity through discussion of initiatives focused on equity, social justice, and anti-racism for maternal and child health. The session will touch on physical and mental health for adolescents and young adults, as well as how COVID-19 highlighted inequities embedded in the healthcare system with stark disparities in access and quality of care across race, ethnicity, gender, and sexuality. The session will discuss how state Title V can partner more intentionally and leave our audience with inspiration for action.

During this session, we will recognize the awardees of the Vince Hutchins Leadership, Merle McPherson Family Leadership, and Innovation Hub awards
