Acknowledging the Historic Role of MCH in Perpetuating Inequities; Honoring the Leaders Who Changed Course

To kick off the 2022 Annual Conference, please join us for a performance of Future Ancestors, a short performance art piece that addresses disconnection from the land, from our selves, and from our communities.

This sessions focuses on acknowledging where the MCH field has done harm in the past, whether it was intentional or unintentional, and highlighting some of the thought leaders who have led and are leading us on a path to rectify.

During this session, we will recognize the awardees of the John MacQueen and Excellence in State MCH Leadership awards.
