Yusuke Hamada DDS, MSD graduated from Kyushu Dental University and obtained DDS. He completed his periodontal program at Indiana University School of Dentistry and received an MSD and a certificate in Periodontics.
Dr. Yusuke Hamada is Assistant Professor, and Program Director in the advanced education program at the Department of Periodontology at Indiana University School of Dentistry and practices limited to periodontics and Implant Dentistry. He will relocate to the Section of Periodontics at the University of California Los Angeles from August 1st, 2022.
Dr. Hamada is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He is involved in didactic and clinical teaching at both pre-doctoral and graduate levels. He received AAP Awards for Outstanding Teaching and Mentoring in Periodontics in 2017 and the AAP Foundation Nevins Teaching and Clinical Research Fellowship in 2019. He enjoys teaching and conducting clinical research focused on hard and soft tissue regenerative procedures. He is also mentoring graduate students for their thesis projects.
