Deputy Chief Jennifer Crosby has served with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office for over 19 years as a Detention Officer and has been a Deputy Chief since January of 2022. She has held several leadership positions at various jail divisions within the agency and has made a name for herself as a professional that is motivated, takes pride in her work, leads by example and takes on difficult assignments. Chief Crosby has held positions as a Class Sergeant at the Maricopa County Sheriff's Training Division, worked as an Investigator in Internal Affairs, and oversaw the opening of Watkins Jail in May of 2020, MCSO’s first facility designed based on the philosophy of Direct Supervision.
