Danielle Frane began her career in corrections in 1997 at the Norfolk County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO) as a Corrections Officer. On March 16 2022, she was promoted by Sheriff Patrick McDermott to serve as the Superintendent of Jail Operations. Superintendent Frane is the first woman to serve as superintendent in the 229 year history of the office. She is charged with running the day to day operations of the facility.
In addition to working at the NCSO, she is a consultant for The Moss Group Inc., which develops strategic solutions for sensitive issues facing law enforcement and correctional agencies.
Ms. Frane is a Department of Justice Certified PREA Auditor, American Jail Association (AJA) Certified Jail Manager, American Correctional Association Certified Corrections Executive and Certified Correctional Health Professional from National Commission on Correctional Health Care.
She has completed the FBI-LEEDA Trilogy and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice.
