Dr. V. Inez Gonzalez currently works for Correctional Health Services at the Men's Central Jail in Los Angeles, CA. She is the Supervising Psychologist for the Jail Mental Evaluation Team. Dr. Gonzalez studied at Loyola Marymount University and received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She continued her graduate-level studies at Alliant International University, where she received her Master's and Ph.D degrees in Clinical Psychology. She has clinical experience working with at-risk children and adolescents, detained children and adolescents, children diagnosed with cancer and blood disease, incarcerated men and women, and men and women parolees. Her forensic work has included various psychologist assessments, competency evaluations, conservatorship evaluations, bonding assessments, and treatment/placement evaluations. She has experience working with multiculturally diverse patients that have a history of trauma and abuse, drug and alcohol addiction, and severe mental illness.
