Re-Entry Specialist

Liane joined the Fairfax County Sheriff’s Office in June 2019 as the Re-Entry Specialist in the Fairfax Adult Detention Center. Prior to joining the Sheriff’s Office, Liane spent 14 years working for the Commonwealth of Virginia as the Senior Sentencing Advocate/Mitigation Specialist at the Virginia Indigent Defense Commission in Fairfax County. Prior to the IDC, Liane worked for several years with children and adolescents in the foster care system, with special education students in the public school system, and at several non-profit organizations. Liane has a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Christopher Newport University and is a certified MRT (Moral Recognation Therapy) and Decision Points facilitator.
