We know emotional intelligence skills are important for staff morale, retention, and the quality of the work environment; but, how can it be taught so that staff embrace the training? It must be taught experientially, not by lecture. If done experientially, staff enjoy and appreciate it and are often transformed by it. The model presented is usually a mandatory three-day training, yet it has received 100% positive evaluations from all levels of staff. Also, staff attitudes, morale, and the work culture improved dramatically. This training model is easily taught to line staff and academy staff. This session is a what, why, and how-to session. If you think emotional intelligence is important, this workshop is a must.
