Our chosen profession makes us proud because of the purposeful work that we do. But it can be mentally, emotionally, and physically exhausting. It’s rewarding and tough all at the same time. We came into this profession wanting to make our little corner of the world a better place. But while we were doing that, we also experienced unbelievable trauma and adversity. Repeated blows without the necessary resources to deal with trauma can lead to alcoholism, bitterness, drug abuse, depression, financial ruin, divorce, and even suicide. In this workshop, attendees are given numerous tools and concepts to strengthen and grow your resilience, taught how to use those tools when in adversity, and provided with strategies to help them actually grow through trauma. These tools and ideas will help you build your resilience and strengthen your mind, body, and spirit for a happier and healthier life.
