Dr. Emily Steinhagen is an Associate Professor of Surgery at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She serves as the Associate Program Director of the General Surgery Residency and the Clerkship Director for 3rd Year medical students. She completed her BA at Williams College, and recieved her MD at The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Steinhagen completed her General Surgery residency at The Mount Sinai Medical Center and a colorectal surgery residency at the University of Chicago. Her clinical and research interests are inflammatory bowel disease and hereditary colorectal cancer. She also has a strong interest in surgical education.
