Dr Lori Zimmerman is a pediatric gastroenterologist at Boston Children's Hospital (BCH). She is the co-director of a multidisciplinary medical surgical IBD clinic who cares for children with IBD who have complex medical and surgical needs. She serves as the current director of the endoscopy unit at BCH. Her research interests focus on understanding how best to optimize surgical outcomes of children with IBD as well as exploring the psychosocial impact of IBD on children and young adults.
