Recent changes to Title IX regulations continue the push for dialogue regarding fair and equitable policies that support all parties in the adjudication process. Title IX is a United States federal regulation that bans discrimination based on sex in educational settings. This session will provide a general overview of Title IX and a high-level review of the real-world impact caused by changes to Title IX. Although Canada does not have an equivalent federal law, this presentation will also discuss current Canadian controversies surrounding this topic.
