Together we accommodate and enhance education. Faculty and students access a virtual private network where ePortfolio entries document students’ journey of dental education from first year to clinical care and graduation.
File uploads of students’ work and self assessment of competency is evaluated by both students and faculty. Documentation of coursework is required and also submitted via course reflections and its applicability to practicing dentistry. A virtual eportfolio is foundational knowledge prior to, and while treating patients. Faculty feedback to student entries serves to increase student confidence and reflection on growth from students to highly capable clinicians.
