Dental Education has historically been classroom, laboratory and clinical teaching. Using technological advances including branched learning modules is relatively a new concept in dental education. Virtual patient based simulation (VSE) modules are becoming popular in medical education. This tech expo introduces the learner to a branched learning module that has been used to introduce fundamentals of treatment planning concepts to undergraduate dental students using virtual case based simulations. Participants will have an opportunity to go through the VSE encounters and discuss opportunities of how to incorporate this new teaching modality into their curriculum.
