Background: The process of developing different learning modalities has been a continuous and dynamic activity in education. The incorporation of Virtual Standardized Patient (VSP) and its benefit in dental education is worth analyzing. Method: An Augmented Reality was developed on a handphone and presented to a pool of faculties and students. Immediately after their interaction with VSP, the participants completed a questionnaire to express their experience.
Results: Participants showed a high level of enthusiasm for VSP. Conclusion: VSP can contribute to the dental curriculum when remote learning has become the innovative method in pedagogy, especially during the COVID 19 pandemic.
