The 2022 ADEA Annual Session & Exhibition will bring together dental, allied dental and advanced dental educators and students at the Pennsylvania Convention Center for four days of world-class educational sessions and an exhibit hall filled with dental education’s leading partners.
Please note: All Members’ Forums are virtual this year and are included with registration. They are all scheduled between March 9th - 11th, 2022.
While we look forward to the return of a face-to-face conference, there is no higher priority than the safety and well-being of ADEA members and staff. Accordingly, we continue to monitor the status of the COVID-19 variants and their impact on the operational status of our ADEA Member Institutions. ADEA will implement health and safety protocols appropriate to the public health circumstances existing at the time of the conference.
Those protocols may include, but are not limited to:
• Testing
• Proof of negative COVID-19 status and/or vaccination and/or antibody status
• Self-monitoring
• Biometric screening
• Symptom checkers
• Contact tracing
• Wearing a mask
• Use of additional personal protective equipment, social distancing and space management
• Other similar measures, etc.
These protocols may be updated or adjusted. Compliance with some or all the protocols adopted by ADEA will be mandatory for in-person attendance and participation at the conference. Additional information regarding the specific health and safety measures, and any necessary consents by you, will be communicated prior to the first day of the conference. Failure to adhere to or comply with the safety protocols in place may result in removal from the event and/or event premises. The ADEA Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (ADEA SoTLfest)-related sessions examine how teaching is valued, assessed and rewarded, and how it contributes overall to the learning experience of students and educators. To be eligible for an ADEA SoTLfest Certificate of Recognition, you must participate in a minimum of three ADEA SoTLfest-designated sessions plus at least one Chair of the ADEA Board of Directors Symposium and complete the online evaluation process associated with those sessions.
ADEA is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry. ADEA designates individual educational sessions for various continuing education credits. Please refer to individual educational session descriptions for detailed information. Continuing education credits (CE) are earned by attending educational sessions in their entirety and by completing the evaluation process for those sessions. To evaluate educational sessions attended and obtain a CE Verification Form, ADEA Annual Session & Exhibition registered attendees should complete evaluations through the mobile app or program planner. Only sessions with CE indicated are eligible for CE. The deadline to complete the evaluation process and print a PDF of your CE Verification Form is April 30, 2022.
