This presentation uses comparative studies to discuss the use of VR videos compared to standard teaching videos and in-person demonstrations to teach basic surgical skills in surgery lab courses. Outcomes covered include improved student reception, ease of learning, competency, and comfort level with these skills prior to performing spays and neuters on live patients.
