It has been said that "a chance to cut is a cure." But surgery also gives us a chance to diagnose, a chance to rule out, and a chance to predict. The field of veterinary surgery is advancing quickly. Although once crippled by economic realities, animal surgery is now catching up. Technology and processes that increase efficiency while reducing consumer costs increased individual animal value and grown companion farm animals’ prevalence has increased demand for advanced surgical procedures. This seminar will highlight some of the recent advancements in farm animal surgery. The attendee will better understand surgical procedures on these animals while learning best practices.
