One Health: Trends and Opportunities

The One Health concept emphasizes the connections between animal, environmental, and human health. The recognition and study of these connections provide opportunities for improving health across disciplines. During this seminar, the One Health concept is used as a framework for outlining areas of particular interest to ACVS surgeons. Lectures in this seminar focus on the contributions of ACVS Diplomates and veterinary surgery to the advancement of One Health and on One Health insights that have the potential to change and improve the practice of veterinary surgery.
