This lecture will cover the basics of how to provide safe and effective sedation catered to the needs of the patient. Dr. Reed will discuss the pros and cons of commonly used sedation agents and how they can be used together to create sedation cocktails in specific case scenarios. Proper patient care and monitoring for sedated pets will also be discussed.
