This laboratory provides a half day of didactic instruction followed by a half day of laboratory training in advanced small animal laparoscopic techniques (Tuesday 10/11, 8am - 5:30pm).

Material covered includes the following:

• A brief introduction to equipment and approaches
• Discussion of indications and contraindications for advanced laparoscopic procedures

Specific instruction regarding advanced laparoscopic procedures including the following:

• Ovariohysterectomy
• Intracorporeal Gastropexy
• Cholecystectomy
• Adrenalectomy
• Nephrectomy
• Lymphadenectomy & Cisterna Chyli Ablation
• Herniorrhaphy

Please note that this lab will be held at an offsite laboratory facility which currently requires proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster for admittance.
