There are many methods to provide safe and effective anesthesia and analgesia for veterinary patients. During this seminar, speakers will present up-to-date information on current forms of anesthesia, including drugs as premedicants, induction agents, and drugs and drug combinations to maintain the anesthetized state. Key presentations will include local and regional anesthetic techniques in large and small animals, the inclusion of Enhance Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocols, and how best to ensure that patients are comfortable when they return to their home environments.
