This talk will review the "Impostor Syndrome" and offer suggestions for how to cope with these feelings of inadequacy as well as some personal perspective on being dual career surgeons surviving academic careers while raising four children.

• Recognize the impostor syndrome and signs they might be afflicted.
• Have some tools to deal with their feelings of inadequacy.
• Reflect on ways to navigate an academic career while having some personal growth at the same time.
