Bucking bulls are considered true athletes of the bovine world. Stock contractors invest significant financial resources and time in developing a string of bucking bulls and principles of sports medicine can be extrapolated for use in maintaining the health of these athletes. Despite the relatively short amount of time bulls perform at each event their explosiveness and athleticism can result in a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries. In this session we will review some of the most common injuries and preventative measures to help decrease injury risk.
