Laminitis can be a deadly disease, often because the excruciating pain can’t be reasonably managed. Pain in laminitis is complex in nature and require a multimodal approach to therapy to maximize the chances of success. Several pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic approaches to treating pain in laminitis have been investigated, providing evidence-based information for managing laminitis pain.
