Veterinary trauma can result in a wide variety of systemic effects on the patient, and it is vital to understand the options to improve management, outcomes, and patient care. This seminar details medical and surgical intervention options to treat various traumatic conditions, including burn wounds, blunt trauma to thoracic and abdominal cavities, analgesic options, and wound treatments. A group discussion of treatment options also provides insight during the seminar.
