Diseases and conditions of the respiratory system have a propensity to suboptimal response to treatments. Individualized approaches to novel and uncommon presentations seem to be necessary with this system more than others. During this seminar, the speakers discuss complex cases that may not respond to commonly employed therapy or surgery. Management during the post-operative period, follow-up surgery options, and prognosis are explored using personal experience.
