Charlotte graduated from The Royal Veterinary College, London in 2014 and initially spent 2 years in mixed general practice in the North of England. Following this, she undertook an equine internship at Valley Equine Hospital in Lambourn working predominantly with racehorses and sport horses. After completing her internship she spent 5 months travelling which included volunteering at a variety of veterinary projects such as The Gambia Horse and Donkey Trust. She returned to Lambourn as a first opinion vet for 18 months before starting an ECVS residency in Equine Surgery at The University of Edinburgh in July 2019. During her residency she has worked on a variety of research projects, involving equine orthopaedics and advanced diagnostic imaging. She completed her Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (Equine Orthopaedic Surgery) in August 2020 and is planning to sit her ECVS board examination in February 2023.
