Dr. Chang is originally from Taiwan and graduated from National Chiayi University (2006) with BVM, and then obtained an MS at National Chung Hsing University (2009). He completed his small animal intern rotation in 2011 and first-year surgery residency in 2012 at National Chung Hsing University.
Dr. Chang moved to the US with his wife in 2017 and started work as a postdoctoral research scholar in a small animal tendon lab at North Carolina State University in 2018. To date, Dr. Chang has attended over 20 small animal tendon repair projects and a couple of gastrointestinal pressure leakage projects and was awarded Postdoctoral Scholar of the Year in 2019. He is particularly interested in small animal surgery, orthopedic, and sports medicine.
Currently, Dr. Chang is a PhD student mentored by Dr. Mackin at Mississippi State University.
