Hung-Ju Sun is currently a graduate student in the institute of veterinary clinical science school of veterinary medicine at National Taiwan University. She earned the Bachelor degree from Life Science of National Central University and the DVM degree from National Chung Hsing University in Taiwan, completed the international veterinary students training program organized by Lloyd Veterinary Medical Center at Iowa State University, and then finished a rotating small animal internship at NTU in 2020.
In the graduate school, her interested research field is small animal surgery and canine gait analysis, and has been committed to prospective studies regarding to canine gait analysis and stifle joint biomechanics. In the same duration, she also keeps receiving the advanced clinical training in small animal surgery department in the veterinary medicine teaching hospital at NTU. These experiences helped her became an experienced veterinarian in both research and clinical practice. Currently, she works on the research about numerical estimation of the canine hip joint center position, which provides a non-invasive and more technically feasible pelvic limb model for canine gait analysis.
