Dr. McCoy is an associate professor of equine surgery at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. She has a clinical and research interest in musculoskeletal disease in the horse, particularly developmental orthopedic conditions. Her other research interests include the identification of genetic risk factors underlying gait and performance in the horse.
