Stanton started his career as a producer for an ABC affiliate in a top 100 market. His desire to trade in real blood for fake blood sent him packing for New Orleans, where he earned an MFA in film production. He immediately started a productive career in the film industry. His credits include the Sundance favorite “The Tale,” the blockbuster “Creed,” and comedies such as “Hot Tub Time Machine 2,” and the Netflix hit “The Perfect Date.”

Stanton founded Pyxis as a way to help veterinary students, such as his wife, with their studies by providing them a way to learn surgical procedures by utilizing virtual reality to obtain visual perspectives that were previously unavailable. The company has grown and, thanks to a partnership with VIN, now supports vet students all over the globe.
