Dr. Fox-Alvarez is a small animal soft tissue surgeon at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, where he earned his DVM, MS, and specialty surgery training. His veterinary interests include minimally invasive surgery, skin and reconstructive surgery, surgical education, and the use of novel technologies in surgery. His current research involves the use of near-infrared angiography (NIRF) for perfusion assessments in the dog. He is a passionate educator with a focus on educational multimedia.
