Po-Yen Chou, BVM, MS, MVM, DACVS (Small Animal)

Dr. Chou is currently a clinical associate professor in small animal orthopedic surgery at the University of California, Davis. He earned his veterinary degree from National Taiwan University. After graduation, he stayed at National Taiwan University and completed a combined master's degree and small animal surgery residency from 2004 to 2008. He then completed a small animal surgery fellowship at Michigan State University and his rotating internship and small animal surgery residency at Atlantic Veterinary College, University of Prince Edward Island in Canada. He is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. Dr. Chou's areas of interest are arthroscopy surgery, minimally invasive orthopedic surgery, canine elbow diseases, and fracture repair.
