Deandra Owen has been a staff surgeon at VetMED Emergency and Specialty Hospital in Phoenix, AZ since 2017. A native Bostonian, she received her DVM from Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine and completed a rotating internship at Angell Animal Medical Center. She returned to Angell for a surgical residency after completing a surgical internship at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists. Dr. Owen's clinical interests include joint replacement, fracture fixation, stifle surgery, and developmental orthopedic disorders.
