Philip Allen, DVM, DACVS (Small Animal)

Dr. Allen graduated with his DVM from Kansas State University in 2013. He went on to complete a small animal rotating internship at Tufts University followed by a three-year small animal surgery residency at the University of Minnesota where he worked on research involving osteoarthritis and mesenchymal stem cells. He attained his diplomate status in 2019. Dr. Allen currently is a surgeon at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists and his particular clinical interests include minimally invasive soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries, joint replacement therapy, and trauma/fracture repair
